Government of Uttar Pradesh through DGME has decided to undertake operation and augmentation of the District Hospital at Baghpat and allow the utilization of the facilities of the existing 268-bedded District Hospital to a private partner for developing and operating a Medical College with an annual intake of at least 100 (hundred) MBBS students through Public Private Partnership.
The existing District Hospital lacks adequate infrastructure, teaching beds, laboratories, and faculty as per NMC guidelines for establishing a 100-seat undergraduate medical college.
Upgradation of district hospital including filling the gaps related to human resources, specialties, equipment and infrastructure for receiving LOP;
Development and Operationalization of UG Medical College, one year construction period shall be given for the Medical College
