Goals, principles and stages of contract management

The aim of a PPP is to deliver services in a way that meets users’ needs, provides value-for-money to the Sponsor, and is commercially attractive for the concessionaire. The foundation for achieving all of these things is the project design which is expressed in the Concession Agreement. This foundation should have been put in place during the first three Phases of the PPP Process.

For the aims of the PPP to now be realised the Sponsor must play its crucial contract management role throughout the remaining life of the project.
